In Pictures: The 2021 Indian Motorcycle DTRA Hooligan season
After the disrupted 2020 season and back for the first time since 2019, the Indian Motorcycle Flat Track National Championship brought the go-fast-and-turn-left thrills back to the UK crowd with a hard fought 2021 series that saw Indian Motorcycle racer, George Pickering, put in an impressive performance on the FTR1200H to finish third in the championship with Leah Tokelove just outside the podium steps in fourth.
The Indian Motorcycle UK team, supported by S&S Cycle, put in many long hours developing and refining the FTR1200H with S&S developing a new ECU to soften the power and to provide three switchable maps to suit differing conditions. With his determination and the development of the FTR during the season, George finished every point scoring round on the podium to secure third in the championship in his first season of Hooligans and his first racing season the FTR1200H.
As restrictions on live events ease, now is the time to get involved and get ready for the 2022 season. Whether as a spectator, team member or as racer, the Dirt Track Riders Association (DTRA) provides one of the most welcoming and easily achievable forms of grassroots racing.
